SNOWANGEL tells story of Connie and John, who indulge in a brief affair that neither expects to affect their future. Connie, a hooker, is betrayed and later rescued by an unhappy young man, in search for the true love that once made his life happy. Together the two change each other's lives. The playwright created an interesting dynamic between the two characters, both of whom are obviously in search of love. They are both very different, yet searching for the same thing-lost love.
John is trying to re-create one of the most beautiful moments of his life, when he met the girl he was falling in love with. Ultimately, he’s trying to pay a night girl to re-create this story. He has everything written down is his little notebook, in order to keep all the details. The behavior is mysterious and gives to the play a sense of uncertainty. He’s paying to get one of his biggest fantasies, using this woman to replace his ex-girlfriend. He’s pushing the edge- how far will a human being go to fulfill his dream, despite resistance. Connie’s anger will be released with the confession, of the first love of her life, Paco. He was that unique person who took her "where the snow never melts," to the highest emotional level. At the end of the play, John will speak with Paco’s words, making the promise of a new life together. The metaphor of the snowangel that never melts, is translated into a vow of endless love.
