Sweet Eros is the story of a Young Man who, having experiencing the mental decline of his first lover and the suicide of his second upon leaving them, concludes, "People don’t like to be loved." Removing himself from society to live out "among the ants," the psychologically damaged Young Man imagines a way to create the perfect female companion without the emotionally devastating results of his previous relationships. He decides to carry out his experiment and kidnaps a Girl who catches his eye as she walks her dog one evening. The production was the MFA Thesis project of Jennifer Malloy and Chris Zonnas.
