WHITE EMBERS

Two women, one from the West and one from the East, confront each other. A couple travels to a foreign land to find a child. Their stories intertwine and connect in unexpected ways.

The play was developed at the Actors Studio, as part of the Playwrights and Directors Workshop. The final version was presented in May 2005, as part of "the New Play Festival" hosted by the Actors Studio, New York City. The Playwrights and Directors workshop is an open laboratory where members can create, experiment and find feedback from colleagues about their directing and writing projects. The workshop is conducted and moderated by Carlin Glynn and Peter Masterson.
